The Hunter Power Project at Kurri Kurri is a key initiative in Australia's energy sector transition, featuring two advanced open cycle gas turbines (OCGTs). Designed for flexibility, these turbines operate on natural gas and are hydrogen-ready, with diesel as a backup. The project, with a capacity of up to 750 megawatts, is critical in bridging the gap left by retiring coal-fired stations and ensuring a reliable power supply.
CSPM Role
CSPM Consulting has been engaged to utilise SYNCHRO 4D for the Hunter Power Project, blending 3D modelling with schedule data to create a dynamic 4D visualisation. This approach is pivotal early detection of potential clashes and conflicts. It allows for a real-time representation of the project's progress, facilitating effective coordination and decision-making. By harnessing 4D planning & scheduling, we ensure that our client benefit from streamlined project management and enhancing overall execution efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
